How we do it

We use our LDE improvement cycle for greatest impact.

Learn, Design, Enact (LDE)

At Excellent Schools we have created our own LDE school improvement cycle to best tailor solutions that address the unique needs and aspirations of each school, ensuring sustainable growth and lasting impact.

LDE Improvement Cycle

The most effective leaders utilise quality improvement processes within a cohesive cycle to bring about the required change in the relevant high leverage areas.

We have the necessary tools for high quality evaluation processes, strategic thinking and situational analyses (LEARN). We provide all necessary planning tools to establish an effective response to opportunities for improvement and areas for acceleration (DESIGN), while supporting leadership teams through implementation processes and change management phases (ENACT).

Our agile and responsive approach means that LDE processes are used appropriately to best reflect the context of the school and each leadership challenge. Each aspect of the LDE cycle uses a unique set of tools and approaches to reinforce agility. Within such an improvement cycle sits nine sets of processes within three quality phases to achieve the greatest impact. The LDE cycle can be followed in its entirety or through its seperate parts.
